Question: Reason for not conceiving…
“A 24 year old woman, I have been married for 4 years now. We didn’t try to have a baby all these years but since the past couple of months I have been trying to conceive. But I’m unable to do so and that is creating depressive feelings in me. As my menstruation is normal, I’m getting regular periods, and my husband also seems quite normal, what can be the reason for not conceiving?”
Answer: About 80 % couples conceive at end of a year…
“There’s no need to get depressed. Since human fertility is around 10-12% per cycle, you should try for at least 6- 12 months. About 80 % couples would conceive at the end of a year. ”
